The UK Carbon Code of Conduct (UKCCC) has been established as a central set of standards taking a holistic land management approach to drive investment into nature based solutions that contribute to the reversal of climate change and biodiversity collapse.
The UKCCC is a not for profit entity that exists purely to ensure that its standards are continually developed and upheld and to give confidence that the carbon credits it issues are robust and ensure the central pillars are upheld, namely:
The UKCCC aligns with the Integrity Council for the Scaling of Voluntary Carbon Markets core carbon principles and is undertaking its assessment process to enable full accreditation to ICVCM standards which the UKCCC hopes to complete by the end of 2023. The UKCCC seeks to work with other codes and stakeholders that share its Vision and Mission.
