The UKCCC is a community interest company (CIC) with members joining and taking a position on the managemeard by rotation. Members can be project developers, enabling entities or companies that buy offsets. The UKCCC is Limited by guarantee funded by membership and fees payable for project approval and credit issuance
The board consists of 8 members who take a place on rotation. The board determine the direction of the UKCCC and approve the version cycle updates and the developemnt of new frameworks and MRV protocols
The technical advisory panel is made up of a group of academics, tech and finance experts, land managers and those with experience of carbon markets
The UKCCC Commissioners role is to act as the final arbiter who signs off projects and annual reports and settles disputes. Their ultimate role is to uphold the reputation of the UKCCC and the quality of the credits issued
